Role — Cooling systems specialist
He is a subcontractor responsible for installing the cooling and water supply systems. Yet he always plants himself in meetings, eagerly weighing in on matters far beyond his expertise. He gives laughable advice about bricks and cites projects from half a century ago as if they were cutting-edge. And, of course, he has a soft spot for the Liko
Role — Brick veneer installer
Presents himself as a master, but learned only from YouTube. Manufacturer guidelines mean nothing to him; he is extremely stubborn and rejects all criticism. Very cunning — most likely planning to escape the site before problems surface.
Role — General contractor
The general contractor on the construction site, but unfortunately only on paper. He receives from Onibaba only the dirtiest and cheapest tasks. A very poor organizer, and when he arrives at work hungover, he tends to get into conflicts.
Role — Onibaba's right hand
Very obedient and ready to carry out any task. He constantly carries Onibaba's handbag. His main mission is to find some kind of measurement error in order to avoid paying subcontractors
Role — Client representative
Controls the money flow but avoids responsibility. She organizes fictitious tenders that appear to select the cheapest offer, but later costs rise due to countless "reasons". She creates conflict situations and uses them to her advantage
Role — Supervision
He has been brought into this project as a savior, to finally repair the façade on the second attempt. He is over 80 years old, yet full of energy and possesses a wealth of experience in supervision work
Role — Ekichi secretary
She is the main contractor's secretary. She always takes notes. Although she is not involved in any problem-solving situations, she often gets very emotional, sighing heavily. She hardly ever speaks. Although Eikichi is a married father of six, she is possibly his lover.
Role — Project Concierge
He is an economist by education, but in this project he oversees all processes entrusted by the building owners, as well as tasks that Onibaba fails to handle. His current focus is the completion of the façade.
Role — Shiori's assistant
She is an architect and Shiori's assistant. Young, but very brave, able to stand up even to Onibaba. She has a deep knowledge of all the project's technical details and engineering sections. She is also familiar with the issues related to brick cladding.
Role — Site supervisor
She is the technical supervisor on this construction site. Young and inexperienced, yet she shows great activity in scrutinizing documents and signatures, but not the actual work. She constantly provokes conflicts.
Role — Main Architect
She is the most important person, as she is the architect of this house. With her heart and professional competence, she has created this outstanding architecture. Her vision is to build a brick façade, but Arata, with his work and incorrect technology, is leading everything toward disaster. Shiori stands 100% for the client's interests only
Role — Eikichi's right-hand man
He is very loyal, having been together since kindergarten. Not a very technical person, he is more useful for making sure no one steals anything or for secretly observing what others are doing. Sometimes it's not even clear whether he understands what is said at all.
